Thank you for the update. Could you use "git reset master" and do a new single commit and a git push -f? Then, the history should be clean.

If you are not brave: Open gitk --all before doing that and keep it open. Do another gitk --all after pushing. If everything is OK, close the gitks. If not, use the first one to reset your branch "requirejs-support" :)

OK. Think we cannot get your git setup working to keep the linebreaks? Are you on windows? I have following setting, which enables auto cr/lf conversion and really converts cr/lf (core.safecrlf).
